Soroptimist International of Bidwell Rancho is a group of professional women who strive to make our community and world a better place. We are a chapter of Soroptimist International, a worldwide volunteer organization for women. We work in conjunction with this immense organization to provide service to the women of the world. Here in our community, we work to provide resources to help women and girls achieve their potential and improve their lives.

The annual Chico Microbrew Festival is our only fundraiser. Thanks to the many breweries and distributors that donate their beverages and their time, along with the help of local volunteers and businesses, we are able to host this awesome fundraiser. Last year marked the 17th year of this annual event. The proceeds from this festival enables us to fund numerous community service projects throughout the year.

Operation Mammogram
Operation Mammogram provides free Mammograms to women 40 years and over who are uninsured. Through funds raised from the Microbrew Festival and the generous help and donation from North State Imaging and staff, we have been able to provide this free service to over 200 women each year.
Mammograms are held each year in October in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Community Awards
Our community Award Programs are another way that Soroptimist International of Bidwell Rancho exhibits its core values of improving the lives of women and girls and giving back to our community.
Currently, our club supports three Soroptimist-sponsored award programs. These programs are the end result of our fundraising efforts.
Our Awards Banquet is held annually in March in collaboration of International Women’s Month.
